Well Fargo Student Art Contest
THE WELLS FARGO STUDENT ART CONTEST connects the visual arts with SPA’s mainstage performing arts presentations which serve as inspiration. Winning entries are sorted from hundreds of submissions and showcased around the Houston area.
This year’s art contest theme, Ingenuity, is inspired by two presentations during the 2019-2020 season: Manual Cinema: Frankenstein, EMN-Ensemble Mik Nawooj, and the theater itself as a place that brings people together. Ingenuity, as a theme, encourages students to use critical thinking skills to address challenges and create innovative work through their submissions.
The 22nd Annual Wells Fargo Student Art Contest theme, Ingenuity, encourages students to create works of art that explore problem solving and diversity, answering the question: What is our potential when we work together?
