Fran Lebowitz, a purveyor of urban cool, will now take your questions.

Fran Lebowitz is a purveyor of urban cool. In a cultural landscape filled with endless pundits and talking heads, Fran Lebowitz stands out as one of our most insightful social commentators. The subject of Martin Scorsese’s recent Emmy-nominated Netflix series, “Pretend It’s a City,” her essays and interviews offer her acerbic views on current events and the media—as well as pet peeves, from tourists to adults who roller skate.

30-minute conversation with interviewer Ernie Manouse, followed by a 60-minute audience Q&A. Featuring Post-Event Book Signing

“Before the amusements of...The Onion or Sex and the City, there was Fran Lebowitz: the single inheritor to the smart-not-smarmy, sarcastic, cosmopolitan crown left by Dorothy Parker.”
